How to save game?

so i played over and over thinking there is an autosave point. but none so far for me .. how can i save game manually?

yes i have windows 8 i have the same exact problem

you need to log in to this website before you can save. i know it is stupid but that is what you need to do.

I have both windows 8 and Windows 7 tried many times on windows 8 even tried the steps someone posted about redownloading windows live (older version) then updating still didnt work, then copied the files as instructed xlivehostinstall.dll and such into the windows system32 folder still nothing now having to wait another 2 hours to download and install on windows 7 to see if it is a compatability issue and login into the website?? will try that as well I suppose doubt that is going to work my friends

as suspected logging into xbox.com an staying signed in does nothing unless your referring to another website this is another useless step, no offense to you just frustrating I bought this game at 11am this morning and still cannot save im sick of going through the intro of the game over and over and over so unless anyone knows if steam plans on fixing this soon then im done with this and steam all together!

I found a Solution that works for me thanks to "Burnt Man"

"I've posted countless time show to get it to work on Windows 7, and 8. GFWL that is.


YOU need to download the new games for windows marketplace.

Steam installs the old crappy version when you try to launch the game the first time.

Uninstall current GFWL stuff under add/remove programs. REMOVE them both. (Marketplace, and GFWL redist.)

Then go to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient

Restart pc after.

But make sure to ERASE the old versions FIRST (Marketplace, and GFWL redist.)

do exactly as it says then after you restart open the game up and you should get a pop up from windows to sign in and continue .. "everything is self expanatory"

som of us do not have problems
I have batman arkham asylum and city both run fine without a problrm
and so far every game I have installed I have had no problems with any of them so you are saying that this could not happen

but then again I build my own systems
and know what hardware I have and do not get all the bloat ware that comes with store bought computers
