Bug problem

I'm just getting into BAC GOTY steam pc version and it works great., but I've hit a bug trying to get out of the Smelting Chamber in the Steel Mill. The door won't open after saving the Doctor and trying to go back to the Loading Bay. I've used the REC on the motor several times, as well as save and restarting game several times. The motor activates but the door won't open. The first door is locked now and I can't find another way out of this room. I've used console commands in other games to get around these little issues, but can't find a solution to this problem... Any suggestions?

I seem to have a problem slightly similar to urs. I can't get out of the steel mill either. Except I've beaten the game and I keep hitting one of those red buttons thats supposed to do something to the vents so I can get out but the button won't activate when I hit it w/ my batarang! It really sucks cuz I can't go back the way I entered cuz theres a flow of water that only goes a certain way and therres no grapel point to pull urself under a certaing thingy hard to explain anyways I think the game screwed me not absolutely sure but I think it did!

I figgered it out! The button isn't supposed to do anything by golly and the exit is in the upper room, same exit I used in the first place, so happy, problem solved!

Oh to the OP did u try pressing the middle mouse button while using the REC?
