Report a translation problem
You can get creative with caltrops and whips to try to knock special enemies down (and knock whatever weapon or shield they have down as well), but I don't think you can destroy weapons outright like batman can.
Left trigger + Y
My best guess would be to simply combine the quickfire button (the keyboard equivalent of Left trigger) and the counter button (equivalent of "Y" button). Good luck!

This is the binding I use, which sticks it on the "Tilde" key. Modify to whatever you like:
For the GOTY Edition on Windows 7, it goes in the UserInput.ini file in C:\Users\<you>\Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City GOTY\BmGame\Config.
I've tested it briefly, and it appears to still work on my new GOTY edition.
edit: nevermind, it just HAS to be a button you're not using for ANYTHING else, weak.
Maybe now that GFWL is gone, my complaints will actually become more annoying than the patching process and they'll fix it just to shut me up.
