Skin mods

Has anyone tried the texmod costumes on Arkham City GOTY since it switched to Steamworks? Any links to the modded costumes?

google skin mods for arkham city. im sure you will find a site with mods and stuff. or, you can free roam with nightwing or robin. this is why pc gaming so much better, the freedom to mod!

I originally played this game on Xbox 360 when it came out, but I bought it here when they had that sale recently. So much better on PC!!!! I am a little bored with the skins included with the goty edition and found some sites with pics of the modded skins, but I am having trouble locating sites that still have valid links to the actual files.

How did you apply the mod? How do you select the skin?

1. Run Texmod.exe.
2. Click the large folder icon below Target Application. Select BatmanAC.exe found within theBatman Arkham City/Binaries/Win32 folder.

Now you’re going to apply your new modification...

1. You’ll see three column options: Package Mode, Logging Mode and Package Build. Select Package Mode.
2. Click the small folder icon and select your custom .tpf file.
3. Select run and the game will launch with your new modified graphics file.

I found this on a site, I didn't write this but it sums it up.

it doesn't work with DX11, so all DX11 graphics feattures must be turned off

Launch Arkham City from steam, choose configure pc options. Then where it says Direct X11 features and Direct X11 Tesselation set those to off. Then run the texmod .exe and follow those steps above. Thats exactly how I did it and it worked.

Why only some mods work from that list??

I followed all instructions, and it actually runs from the TM app.

I left the game exact as Batman gets the suit on the roof, but each time I try to run any costume, only 1 works: BLACK suit.

Silver Knight, Batman beyond, etc doesn't work !

Do I need to place the custom TPK files in a specific folder?

Thanks! Skin mods are what keeps me replaying Steam Games!!

Some of the skin mods are made from the extra costumes that come with the GOTY edition. On a first playthru you need to enter a code in order to choose any of those costumes. The costumes can be chosen at anytime on new game +

as far as I know no
you have to use texmod every time

shame... I'm a young guy so I grew up with Christian Bale as Batman and with the black batsuit and so it would be fun to have it as default. Thanks anyway
