According to this thread this fix is only temporary, but does allow you to at least play for longer before it craps out again. And is the path for Win7: https://steamcommunity.com/app/57400/discussions/0/846945955412657598/

Here's a video instruction the route taken for Win 8/8.1, but comments are saying still works for Win10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lLT95yFFoY

Hey man, I can finally solve this problem. I also have windows 11. My computer specs are the following:
I7 12-55U
16GB RAM
GPU: Intel Iris Xe

Look, all you have to do is to download this dll files and put them into your games directory.
I'll give you this post when they explain this thing better and where the files actually are:
https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/mlfcsc/a_guide_to_dxvk_on_windows/

In my case, my Batman Arkham City is 32bits and use DX9. You have to search the dll file that corresponds to your Arkham City executable. In case that yours also uses DX9 and 32 bits, you have to use the file called "d3d9.dll". Paste it right here, on the same folder where your executable of the game is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham City GOTY\Binaries\Win32

And that's it. Hope this finally solves the problem for you my friend.

PS: The game will have some lag and drop fps every first time you get to a new area after paste the dll, also the load screens will be a little bit longer than usual. It's just a few seconds and then it will be running perfectly and the load screens will go back to normally.

PS2: I'm from Mexico so, sorry if there's any mistake on my writing. I'm still learning.
Hope this help you!

PS3: This also works on Asylum and Knight.

Dude, I put this file on the virustotal website and a backdoor virus was identified. Do you think it is really safe to do this procedure?

DXVK is safe.
