Did they ever fix the directx 11 performance?
I reinstalled this now that GFWL is gone. The performance is horrible. I thought directx 11 was fixed?!

No. It's just slightly better than at launch.
did you use the conversion program, and do you have cloud sync on ??
works great for me, but your performance depends on your hardware.

I can't believe I really need to specify that.

I'm on a GTX 770 4GB and i5 2500K @ 4.2GHz and performance sucks with DX11 still. PhysX is fine, though. They never really optimized tessellation.
No it doesn't depend on your hardware. DirectX 11 is extremely unoptimized as confirmed on various other boards and review sites. A GTX Titan, 780 Ti, or any SLI configuration will still suffer from random consitant stuttering issues. It's not a frame rate problem. The game will run in excess of 60 FPS but out of no where (especially when panning the camera around, it will breifly dip to single digits as if "loading something". Put Physx on high along with this and the problem is just that much more worse.

The tesselation in this game is awful anyway. The snow piles and plant vines for example have a "boiling" effect as you walk towards/ away from it. (which makes no sense at all) My advice is to set game settings to Very High (not extreme) as this will flag the game into DX9 mode (confirmed using DX9 SMAA injector)

This will of course disable HBAO and tesellation which were DX11 only features anyway. The game will still use SSAO and you will likely be able to set Physx to normal or high. I run the game in a GTX 660Ti SLI setup with DX9 Physx high and im always getting 60+FPS

In this particular title, they use DirectX 11 in one particular area:

The Poison Ivy's lair, and it's overly tessellated.

No where else in the game do they use DirectX 11 features.
GTX 970 - DX11 and PhysX can stay off - when aiming for high combos and scores even the slightest bit of stutter can end it all.

You can still use 'Extreme' detail though with the game in DX9; you can just disable the DX11 and PhysX stuff.
