Skip to 4 mins, after they've collected the grapnel boost upgrade. It will show you exactly what to do with tips as well. Good luck :)
For the one in the industrial district...well, that one's difficult. It's all about timing. There's no tricks to it but to keep doing it until you either get lucky or get the timing perfected.
The one near the museum is about timing too, but it's a lot easier than the others.
If you're talking about that one at the Steel Mill, one tip I saw on GameFAQs when I was looking for help was that when you release the dive/crouch button but don't pull up, Batman will slowly go into a 90 degree angle glide that really helps with that. It's kind of weird to explain, but just try it out. He'll level out and it really does help you get through that tunnel without crashing.
that's purely a matter of opinion. For example, in my opinion controllers are infuriatingly inaccurate and I find KB+M to be WAY better.
After a few minutes, I finally got it. One has to release the dive button earlier than expected and let the mouse (or stick) return to a "neutral" position. Beware that Batman is rather slow to pull into the parallel glide, and he still may gain SOME lift, so you may have to nudge the mouse/stick forward intermittently to keep him level.
This also neatly solves the gliding over water Riddler challenge.
Anyway, thanks!
If you are using keyboard/mouse (like most PC gamers), pause your game, go into "Game Options", change [Invert Flight Controls] it into [NO].
The default setting was [YES], so if you point your mouse downwards, Batman will stupidly fly upwards.
I don't really have a problem with the gliding system until doing the AR challenges and a few of the Ridller trophies.
As much as I enjoy this game, it would have benefited from more settings to customize in Options.
