Also make sure that there's another enemy around (at least two), as that's the point of the directed attack. And for reference, it's stun enemy, double tap evade towards eney, press and hold a direction towards enemy, then press strike as soon as the climbing animation starts.
I sort of panickedly did as described above: Stun (MMB), double jump (2 x SPACE), immediately press and hold (that's the panicked part) directional button towards another enemy combined with attack [LMB], AND IT WORKED!
So now I have a full board of riddler trophies, penguins, cameras, balloons, Harley Quinn heads, TYGER centrals, Catwoman trophies, non-AR maneuvres, melée and gadget moves, as well as side missions, and I'm flush with concept art and lore. I dunno why, but it feels disappointing.
