Cryptography Sequencer stuck ?

Anyone knows why i can't exit Cryptography Sequencer on a controller ? The button prompt to exit just dosn't appear and unless i get stuck in it, meanwhile keyboard works fine.

For some reason it dosen't work, first time i used the cryptography sequencer by mistake i had to restart at the latest checkpoint since i tought the game had completly bugged out.
A few more hours into the playtrough and this has been constant for the entire playtrough, i only noticed that it was exclusive to the controller by accident, If the game dosen't close automatically after using, like when you hack doors unless i use the keyboard i get stuck no matter what.

If you haven't done so yet, verify and patch the game:
1. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Files.
2. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Updates, Automatic Updating.

Locate the Launcher: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ Binaries \ Win32 \ BmLauncher.exe

Reduce your in-game screen resolution from maximum from inside the Launcher > Settings. Your game resolution might be slightly too high for some interactions to properly register.

Experiencing this same issue. Can't exit the sequencer on Xbox Series X controller. Running at 1440p on a 3080...

Update: Pressing Ctrl on keyboard exits. When game is in mouse+keyboard input mode the UI says Ctrl is the exit key. But when in gamepad mode there is no on-screen prompt telling which button will exit it. And indeed, no button exits it. I'm guessing it's unbound in gamepad mode for some dumb reason?
