Logitech G430 Surround 7.1 sound issue

Has anyone found out why this game does not give correct surround sound? I have had a similar issue to others on here with other Logitech headsets and there was suggestion of turning on the windows "speaker fill" option, which does nothing for me.

I have looked online for help, but it doesn't seeme to be mentioned much.

As for the problem itself, it is as if you are getting a lack of sound through the rear and surround channels, which seem rather muted, quiet or non-existant. The front 3 seem ok though. Annoying. Everything sounds ok during a speaker test through either the Logitech software or windows playback settings.I am wondering if any other people still share this issue, which so far I have noticed only with THIS game.

Yea just come on here looking for something, my sound keeps going really quiet when npc's talk ect. I have logitech g35's.

It's annoying, because these headsets are convenient, especially with a laptop as I am using

I have the same headset by there are major issues relating to audio: at the beginning when the penguin speaks, I barely can hear his voice, and sometimes it feels like the volume of the music is being turned up and down, really weird effect... I don't know if it comes from the headset though...
