Can't get TexMod to work

I have been trying to get TexMod to work for about a week now, I have been able to get one mod to work, all others don't work/change anything. Since I got one to work, I am assuming I have it installed correctly. I have tried everything I can think of, any and all help is very much appreciated.

Only in your case the original EXE will be named differently.

Some .tpf files might require disabling DirectX in order to work:
1. Locate DefaultEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
2. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
4. Save file and restart computer

I have done this, I have also tried running the game in DX9 mode through launch options, not sure if that's necessary or not, but that didn't work either. I mostly just want to understand how one mod works, but not others.

Might also be worth mentioning that the Black default skin pack tries to work, the cowl and cape change to black, but not the suit, the suit is unchanged other than some black patches.

Try reducing your game resolution from maximum from inside the Launcher > Settings. Not certain when that mod released, but some of the earlier ones were medium resolution.

Unfortunately this did not work either, now nothing is changed, the entire suit is the same.

Create a new folder in the base game folder, call it whatever you want maybe "mods" and put all of your mods and texmod launcher in there. try to launch from there. lmk.
