Fatal error !

So im like 40 hours into the game and game is literally broken and i wasted my money on it, GG WB, get your ♥♥♥♥ together before releasing games, im glad your happy on how your games work perfectly on consoles but you dont give a crap about PC.

By the way for anyone wondering everytime i start the game it crashes me instantly with this message

its almost impossible for me to play this game anymore, i tried re-installing game, veryfing steam cache, updating directx ( even tho it was already up to date ) and nothing works, so i pretty much wasted my money on this. Oh and dont tell me to try and install fresh new windows, im not gonna waste my time on re-installing windows just for this one silly game.

I have little inclination to try to help people who mouth off like you are, but either way, whether you want to believe it or not, the cause of the problem is YOUR potato, not the game. It's probably caling a function which is broken, probably either a windows permission issue, a driver or redistributable issue. Try rolling back to a restore point when the game worked.

My "Potato" is just fine, how so it happens it runs i dont know for example Dragon Age Inqusition Ultra graphics no crashes no lags, yet this game not only it lags but it doesnt allow me to play anymore, Windows premission issue is fine, runs the game as administrator, drivers are fine aswell, they are up to date and i tried rolling back to when the game worked and nothing works. This is WB's fault not my PC's fault mate :)

It's not my "problem" because its Warner Brothers DUTY to fix these issuses and give their customers a better expirience, if they really cared about their fan base then they would entierly REMOVE this error and instead of big quick money grab ♥♥♥♥♥♥ release a perfect game without these silly errors.

If you honestly believe that then there is simply no helping you.

Warner Brothers have neither a duty, nor an obligation to to fix every issue that is reported to them. There are thousands and thousands of possible PC specifications and it's just bad luck if something doesn't work correctly on your set up.

Sure, they'll fix the big issues, but they're running a business, not a charity. So suck it up, look for your own fixes and if you don't succeed, just move on and don't whinge about how much you think you've been 'personally' ripped off (as I'm sure WB have targeted you, jsut so they could squeeze a few measely bucks (no pun intended!) out of you.

Hold on hold on, so you two are basically saying that even tho i paid for the game with my OWN hard working made money, and if the game doesnt work i have no right to complain whatsoever ? Look i dont know what your problem is but i have full right to complain, its my MONEY, i made it, i BOUGHT the game i have an ownership of it therefore i have RIGHT to complain if i wasted 20 Euro for a video game that isnt working for me because basically every video game i played on my new PC ( which is this ) never had even a small error while every Batman arkham game i EVER played on PC ( this and my last one ) had thousands and thousands of errors. This just shows that WB are just a cash grab comapany like Ubisoft and EA, nothing else.

EDIT: Smth to mention Batman AA is perfect, it literally has no bugs anymore, the only thing it has is lags problems

Batman AC, oh well this game has tons of bugs, from the fatal errors and crashes to lag issues and fps drops to having you not being able to proceed in storyline when you get somewhere near fighting Joker in steel mill and watching cutscene with Joker and Talia and after that basically your screen turns black and it just keeps loading, and theres no way you can fix this = WB fault.

Batman AO, lag problems, falling thru buildings, glide bug, you cant finish the game as the game crashes on last Joker fight, etc.

So if anyone tells me that all this is because of my Potato when YET its a common problem for mostly everyone on the internet you must have a brain cancer or some ♥♥♥♥. seriously.

If you are now running Windows 10, did you click all of your redistributables? If not, do that first and restart your computer, then test the game. Locations here:

Im not running windows 10, im running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, and i tried already, i tried updating direct x, theres no way to uninstall it first unless i want to uninstall my entire windows, i tried uinstalling pyshx version for AMD cards and updating, i tried rolling back my driver and updating them, i tried veryfing steam cache, re-installing game and nothing worked, i tried every possible solution on the internet, hell i even tried moving some files into my system folder and nothing, for some reason im assuming its my save file that is corrupting my game even thoe the error reffers to binaries in batman arkham goty folder in steamapps, but if save is the case im not going to delete it after all ive done to get to 100% i didnt nearly get to there but i did most of the stuff except couple of combat challenges...

As for texture bugs and freefalls, disable DX10. Use either of these procedures:

Disable DX10
01. Locate DefaultEngine.ini, typically located here: Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
02. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
03. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
04. Save file and restart computer

DX9 Launch Options
01. From the Steam desktop client, click Library, Batman Arkham Origins
02. From Batman Arkham Origins, right-click Properties, General, Set Launch Options
03. Copy and paste or type the following: -d3d9

Ok the DX9 launch seems to have fixed the fallin thru the building at the comms tower in diamond district, thanks ! Either the DX 10 or DX 11 have some bugs on AMD cards on arkham games since mostly arkham games are mostly supported by nvidia cards, and ill try the resolution for the Joker finale.

Oh my god, are you even listening to yourself? Being aggrivated is one thing, but you're doing nothing but stomping around like a manchild cursing and slinging insults all over the place. And then you wonder why some of us are completely apathetic to you?

Also, you do not "own" anything, you purchased a license to the game, which you've played for 40 hours. Some could argue that you've already gotten your money worth.

Perfect? lol. Hardly, but AA's not even remotely demanding on modern hardware. So if it "lags" for you then once agan the cause is likely your system.
