Report a translation problem
It's a shame that sections like this drive players away. Unfortunately, it's not very logical and you can't really get any further with practice. It just stays unclear what to do. Even after an hour of trying.
I read on the net that you have to release the right "dive" button and pull back to get uplift. I tried that over 30 times but never got up by an inch.
The only comment I have left: bad game, in particular because apart from that it was so good.
Tt even took very similar glide mechanics over to the LEGO DC Super-Villains game, and I think there it's actually more complicated and unintuitive than in City.
Main mistake I remeber making when playing this initially was pulling up to early. It's best to dive lower than the flight path indicates, collecting more speed and thus more momentum to then actually climb higher...
I play under Linux and still had a program running (from a previous game) that caused some interference. It's a program that allows you to map keys from the keyboard to the gamepad. Since this program was running under Linux (native) the game/Batman had obviously no chance to notice that.
