Is Jokers Carnival for 100%?

I'm trying to get 100% but the only thing I really struggle with is Jokers Carnival but I'm not all too sure if its required because I've seen a few mixed things on it

For the 100%, are you referring to the main menu screen that says Total %? As far as I remember that's where the stats are. If yes, then Joker's Carnival is not needed for 100% because based on my experience, I got 100% on it with 211/213 medals for Batman (having only 1 medal for the carnival). I also got the Gold Revenge and Campaign Gold (achievements for Batman) as well as the Perfect Knight - Day 2 achievement.
