Characters are bald glitch? (solved)
Hey, I'm wondering if anything knows the solution or just the cause to the problem I'm having. I just got this laptop so I doubt it's a problem of being unable to run the game.

I noticed this first at the game over screen where Harley Quinn says something snarky, that she literally had no hair and it looked awful. No ponytails, nothing. Then when I got to the next area I saved a girl from some thugs and in the cutscene her hair disappeared flicker into existence sometimes, reappearing if I paused. I noticed a guard I took out also had the problem.
It doesn't ruin the gameplay, but it definitely ruin the great character designs so I'd love to fix it

What could be causing the game to do this and is there any way to fix it?

Very strange indeed. Have you tried verifying the game cache?

How would I do that?
Okay, I noticed it's not just their hair but plenty of stuff like shattered glass, the hair was just really obvious, haha. I'm not having any problem running the game or anything, just graphical bits like that. I have DX12, and 8 gigs of ram and everything. I've been running through the potential problems but I can't determine what I'm doing wrong

Right click on the game in your library, select "Properties". From there, go to the "Local Files" tab and click the button that says "Verify Integrity of the Game Cache".

It basically just checks if all the game files are there, and if not, it redownloads anything that's missing.

Strange.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and try rebooting your PC.

I just did both things, but still no luck

Figured it out! (well, fixed at least)
Telling it to use DX11 settings worked, I guess it was playing the game with DX9 and that was causing problems

Go to where you'd configure the PC options on startup, then settings and change DirectX 11 Features to "MVSS and HBAO", the only other option.

Check if you have the latest grafickcard driver installed

Thanks for your reply @cheeky boy!

I checked that everything is updated incuding my graphics drivers but still at 20fps. It's probably because I need a dedicated graphics card so that's something I need to get my hands on until then thanks for the help!
