Stuck atop tower

I'm supposed to get to Wonder Tower's observation deck to stop Protocol Ten from happening. However after getting out of the elevator and knocking out all the thugs I cannot, for some strange reason, get to the destination I'm supposed to get to as shown on the map! When I try and glide off the tower I'm on, the scene fades away and I'm transported back again to the spot I left from. Am I missing something here?

Try 2 things.

First, quit the game and disable DX10:
1. Locate DefaultEngine.ini, typically located here: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham City GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
2. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
4. Save file and restart computer

Second, if your screen resolution is maxed out, try reducing it just to get you through that section until after mission completion.

Aside from those suggestions, you still might need to grapple up to a higher point to actually enter the tower. Look for grapple or climb points above and around you.

After you get off the elevator and down all the Tyger guards, you have to open the locked gate, then scramble up, and follow the 'path'. This will include shimmying along a ledge, walking along railings, grappling up to a new level and so on, until you make it to the top.

If you are really keen on Riddler secrets theres one along the way You need to jump off the tower to complete it, but make sure you grapple backi in good time (use your detective vision!).

Turn off Vsync and all PhsX.
