Flashing Green bodies?

Early game, after one of the predator segments in the Arkham Police Department, I noticed that one of the incapacitated bodies was flashing green. Scanning did nothing and detective mode also didn't help. Any ideas?

If this was after your second visit to the Church, then you accidentally downed a Riddler snitch.

Yeah, it was one of the Riddler informants. If you manage to defeat all of the enemies and leave the green flashy one for last it will give you the option to "Interrogate" him.
Doing so will cause the localization of some of the Riddler´s Trophies (or questions) appear in the map. Pretty useful.

You had to drop all thugs except the Penguin informant for questioning. Unavoidable inside the GCPD because that scenario was scripted. You already saw the first green Riddler informant outside the Church, so that was your clue why the GCPD thug was flashing bright green. Pay attention to the prompts. There will be other Riddler snitches elsewhere, so save them for last and don't drop them until after you've interrogated them.

They respawn elsewhere.
