Arkham City restarts pc

Hey, I need help and wanted to see if any of you experienced this problem. When I try to run Arkham City it restarts my pc. It can happen either after a few minutes of playing or even before the title menu,

My specs are

Ryzen 3 1200

RX 570 4GB (latest drivers installed)

16GB RAM

Win10

I checked and temperatures don't go over 45. PhysX is already disabled, also disabled dx10 through the .ini file

Regarding City and the other Arkham games, try rolling your drivers back to earlier versions:

Apparantly rolling back to previous drivers solved the issue. I've played over an hour without problems. Thank you for your suggestion!

I stand corrected, the issue appeared again. I doubt it is a hardware problem because no other applications or games cause this problem. I noticed the game writes some launch logs. I don't know if this might help but I will attach them nonetheless

Did you install the PhysX for AMD? Install it, then restart your computer and test the game:

Is the game allowed in your antivirus settings?

Yes, it is allowed. I'll download that and test it. Should I activate physx in the launcher then?

After the new PhysX install, leave it off for now and try the game. You can test with it on later. The games need PhysX installed to run, but don't necessarily need it enabled.

You're on Windows 10, you might be missing the legacy redistributables:

You're on AMD and other games work, so let's ignore the AMD_DCOptSetup for now. Still working on those error messages; nothing relevant pops up on web searches. Not certain the items listed above will fix the crashes, just older stuff the games usually need.

I was able to play for more than 2 hours, which I think was the longest session I was able to do. Then again, the game freezes and the pc restarts. I had already installed the redistributables just in case. Tomorrow I'll chech that memory stuff. I really appreciate all your help

Nothing worked. I give up. I tried Arkham Origins and that game runs fine, Assasin's Creed Odyssey also works flawlessly. The only game that gives me crashes is this one. I guess I'll try to finish the story as fast as I can and then drop it.

If your PC is rebooting, it´s more likelyh a PSU issue.

That´s more common then you would imagine. Maybe the game draws more power, batman games are an unoptimized piece of hot garbage on pc anyways.

Either way, it´s not the games fault. If your computer is rebooting or shutting down, there´s an issue with your hardware. Software issues in the worse case scenario will give you a blue screen.
