If you get stuck you can watch this guys videos for some tips.....
https://youtu.be/id6LCz-F4Vc
...though this guy is highly skilled and emulating him might be even more frustrating
I knew about this youtuber already, I watched his vids to collect the last few riddler trophies and other collectibles (especially the Anarchy grafitis in Origins).
I watched his End of the line extreme video a dozen times now, I tried to do that challenge for about 3 hours now and I think I finally figured out that I need to sneak up the last sniper, silently take him out and then smash him to the ground to create enough noise that all of the others will run to his position at once, which gives me enough time to climb down and avoid being noticed while hanging.
I can`t think of another way now.
I will try it tomorrow.
Happy sneaking and brawling everyone!
End of the Line is pretty easy, just a bit time consuming. Inmediately go to the right, hide in the grates and take down the guy with the jammer pack (this gives you 1 medal). Then hide in the small tunnel right in front until every moving enemy is near the knocked out guy. Then you go and take the sniper on the balcony with the whip for the second medal. That's the easy part, here comes the tricky one (and the one that demands patience). You have to pick the rest off, but choose carefully. Only pick those that stay mostly in the floor level. And, most importantly, you have to leave at least four of them before attempting the last medal. If you only leave three, the sniper that's always crossing the bridge will leave his pattern and start moving all over the map, pretty much killing your chances of getting two guys together to do the double-ledge takedown. Now all you have to do is wait until another guy comes near the sniper AND no other mooks are looking in your general direction. PATIENCE.
Top of the World is an annoyance. Obviously, the first and last medal can be obtained together, you just take the jammer guy last with a beatdown. All it comes to, then is thinning the herd. Taking all the other ones before. The most useful tactics I can recommend are: ledge takedowns on any enemies that go to the outside balconies and reverse ledge takedown on the ones inside (that is, stand on a ledge while an enemy walks below it). That last one is very important because it's the only silent takedown that can be used on armored enemies. From here on is just picking them off until you're left with two. Then you take the first one with the caltrops and the jammer one with the beatdown. The caltrops part can be tricky because enemies won't trip on the caltrops if you throw them too close to them, as they'll hear them, and they tend to change direction for no reason, so if you throw them too far away they might not reach them. A possible solution is this: once you're down to three enemies, take one with a smash takedown so the other two hear it and come running. Throw the caltrops near the corpse and use the bolas to stop the jammer guy on his tracks so he doesn't get there first, and once the other one trips, it's all done. This is of course easier if they come from opposite directions, so make sure not to attract them if they're together. Again, PATIENCE.
Hell, believe it or not, I found Robin's challenges much more annoying.
Doing each map essentially 8 times is rediculous. Add to that the absolutely infuriating experience of doing the extreme predators with catwoman who has virtually zero bullet resistance, no means to lure enemies and cape-less jumps (meaning you can't land accurately like you can with batman/robin). Needless to say, I will never touch them again lol.
And I didn't even change anything on my plan. o.O
I guess I was just lucky. :-D
My final strategy was to either run to the right, hide in the grates, take down the jammer guy, go immediately for the sniper in the small room, and after that take down the mine layer. Wait till a patrol goes to the second sniper and try to take them down both at the same time to get all three achievements.
Or even easier was to run to the left, hide in the grates and take down the patrol. Hide behind the wooden wall and wait for the jammer guy to come by, take him out, than go for the sniper in the little room and again wait for a patrol to move to the second sniper and take them out at the same time.
Once I nailed the timing for the double take down, I managed to get the third medal without any problems on the first try.
It took me 3 hours to finally figure out the AI behaviour and get used to the catwoman movement though. :-P
Now onward to the top of the world extreme! :-D I tried it yesterday a couple of times, with not much luck, we will see how long it will take.
