If you can access the pre game launcher following the instructions to generate a support report will help us provide assistance as it provides information about your installation and general system details like driver versions and GPU type.

Batman: Arkham City GOTY Release Information

1.2.1 - April 8th 2019

• Fixes Riddler Mission crash.

1.2 - February 21st 2019

• Updates the game from 32-bit to 64-bit.
  
• Uses the Metal graphics API instead of OpenGL.
  
• Fixes a number of minor issues.

Pre 10.14 Users: Players using a version of OS X before 10.14 can access a compatible version of the game via the Beta tab in the game’s properties window. Select the ‘mac_retail_11 - macOS 10.13.6 or older only' branch for a version that is compatible with 10.9.5 up to 10.13.6.

Just purchased this game to play on a Late 2013 iMac with an Iris Pro 5200 (iMac14,1) and the game launches but I can't get past the "Click here to begin" screen (crashes to desktop when I click). Any ideas? macOS 10.14.3. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I should have figured my favorite developer would chime in and offer to help! I just sent a message to that address with a copy of the full crash log. Hopefully someone can help. I saw that this game had been updated for Metal and just had to try it.

In case it helps anyone, my issue was caused by the fact that my game was installed to a folder with parentheses ("Games (Mac)"). Feral Interactive's support fixed my issue by having me install the game to a different folder.

Now that old 2013 iMac - not a gaming PC by any stretch - runs this game reliably on all "High" settings with FXAA at 1600x1900 at a consistent 60 fps. Not half bad for such an old computer with an Intel GPU.

I also have a 2013 MacBook Pro with Iris 5100 which is now able to run the game on all "Medium" settings at 1280x800 at a consistent 30fps. Or it can run at "Low" settings with no AA at a consistent 60fps. Certainly usable for travel.

aww, so no no support for 10.13.6? Can't update to mojave due to nvidia webdrivers still being non existent, is there any hope for people on high sierra?

Read the post. There is support for 10.13.6. hi i have a big problem my game lodes but when i start it on the game menu as in game it will close half way throue the cut scean with catwomen freazing on me so i cant even play the game and its not my pc its a realy new and good graphic one
so i want to no why its not working

We are currently investigating this issue and hope to release an update to resolve this issue. Please keep an eye on the patch notes for when the update releases. We suggest you continue to play the rest of the game whilst we resolve this issue. We hope you are still able to enjoy the game in the meantime.
