How to beat Deadshot?

This fight is the most ridiculous unfair boss fight ever. Deadshot instantly snaps to your position when he "spots" you (which BTW, he still sees you even with his back turned), and he can shoot you through cover as well. How do I win this fight if he sees me even with his back turned and shoots me through cover?

I got him in like 30 seconds. Easiest boss fight ever.

It sounds like you're moving at the wrong time. This particular fight is all about timing your movements correctly to ensure that you're in cover when he spins 180 degrees. Don't go for corner cover, as that will just enable him to see you. Deadshot has much better eyesight than your average Arkham City criminal, so even just a little bit of Batman's suit sticking out from cover is enough to alert him.

I agree, but the fight itself seems to be bugged. Any time I leave cover when his back is to me, he nearly instantly turns around and shoots me, even if I am behind cover my the time he shoots me.

This might be a long-shot, and I KNOW it sounds unrelated, but where in the story-line are you? If it's during the lead-up to the final boss, beating Deadshot might be impossible due to the sheer number of snipers around.
