New game plus

So i'm starting a new run after losing my 100% save thanks to the GFWL/steam transition, and i don't quite remember how things works, as i'm going for the 100% again, is there any point doing the side missions on the first run ? As i'm probably going to do them all in NG+. Also, do the riddles map i get from the green thugs (if i remember correctly) carry over to new game plus ?

Start on a Normal or Hard setting because an Easy setting doesn't permit NG+ gameplay. Do the side missions on the first run for the Achievements, and reserve NG+ just in case you missed anything. The riddles do carry over into NG+ but if you don't get at least 400 Riddles, Trophies, and Physical Challenges between both Batman and Catwoman you won't be able to complete the Riddler mission on the base playthrough. Get them out of the way early so in NG+ you can just play the story.
