Connection problem online multiplayer...help!

Hey,

I have a problem with online gaming.

At first the game crashed after I invited my friend to a game and clicked on start. So I checked the game data with steam and steam fixed one corrupt file.

Now when my friend joins the game and I click on start, the game loads longer and opens the match and you can see the actual in game grafics, not only the loading screen. Then it says "waiting for other player" and that's it...Nothing happens!

The funny thing is, in normal online matches there is no problem!! Only with my buddy...

Does anyone know a solution for this problem? I only bought the game to play online with my buddies...

By the way: Online gaming wasn't a problem for me at all...I regularly play TF 2.

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue.
It sounds as though you're not the one with your problem and that it is more likely your friend.
Could you please ask them to complete the steps below:

1. Launch Steam
2. Click Steam in the top left of the client
3. Open the Settings menu
4. Navigate to the Downloads section
5. Expand the Download Region and choose UK – London (Or most appropriate server location)
6. Set the bandwidth limit to No Limit (Unless you are on a limited data plan)

Hopefully, this will sort him out.
Also, make sure you're both NOT participating in the Steam Beta.
While it has some awesome features, it's still in development and unstable.
