Worms Revolution Save files dissappear?????

Last night I was playing Worms Revolution, all my saves were there, no issues. Went to play it this morning, it goes straight into the first campaign mission. I quit and proceeded to versus. Here I found all my data had vanished. This is very annoying. Is there any way I could recover them? Can you download just your saves from steamcloud? are they stored locally?

Note: If I cant get back my last save, is it possible to get the second latest save? So I do not have to start all over again?

The save file is stored locally and on the Steam cloud. Make sure cloud synchronization is turned on in the game properties. You should be able to find the file in your userdata folder. Mine's in Steam\userdata\36588894\200170\remote

in that location I have 3 files, maindata.dat, special.dat, version.dat, how do i restore the saved game to the actual game from here?

Well normally when you launch the game, if the files are not synced it will give you an option to upload local files to the cloud, or download the cloud files to your machine. You could also try turning off cloud synchronization then turning it back on.

I launched the game, and got no such option? Does this option prompt as you launch the game? or is it in the options menu within the game? I tried turning sync off and on again still no luck.

it happened to me.
the save on steam and save on my pc both for same time and for the beginning of the game!
is there any solution for getting back my save file?
steam, what do you do with my save game?

Having the same thing happen to me ever since the patch. Lost my save data, and now it's refusing to save the game for me.
