THE GAME WILL NOT LAUNCH!!
I've stated in the "Build 6614" discussion that I can't launch the game. No one has addressed the issue I'm having. Ever since the 2nd patch, the game crashes when I try to launch it. I've verified integrity, uninstalled, and reinstalled the game. When I click play the game tries to launch and then crashes. It happens every time. Can anyone help?

What is your system specs? Also, delete your preferences at C:\Users\<Your PC User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Olde Sküül\Battlechess Game of Kings The INI files are editable by any text editor and can be deleted to reset to defaults.

Deleting these files did not work. I'm not sure what you mean by system specs, but I've got a top notch computer. I play over a dozen games w/graphic settings set all the way up, and I never have any problems. I shouldn't have any problems with a chess game. I appreciate that you are finally trying to fix this game. I look forward to being able to play in the future. I don't know what I can do to launch the game, but I hope you can tell me. After the first patch, I was able to complete a full game for the first time. I don't understand why it crashes on launch now.

Don_Wooter: Having top-notch system isn't the issue - sometimes certain games can have issues with aspects of your hardware and software setup, regardless of how good your computer is. Mine's pretty powerful, but sometimes there'll be something like a driver number, or the specific GPU, that a game does't like. This sort of issue is more common in early-access games as developers try and make sure a game works as well as possible on a wide range of systems. It's not quite like developing for console, where everyone's system is automatically the same.

To get a full list of your system spec, click 'Help' and then 'System information'. Right click in the info panel that comes up, and copy all text to clipboard, then paste here. That'll give the developers some useful information for solving the problem.
Don, fill this out

CPU?
Ram?
Graphics Card?
or go to start and type in dxdiag and hit enter. This will pull up your system specs.
