Fixed crashing on launch

Went to nosgoth.exe properties. Set to run as admin. Instead of getting the regular crash error, I got a different one that basically said a C++ file was missing.
Long story short, go to: nosgoth>_commonredist>vcredist>2013
install BOTH x64 and x86 versions.
I have Win7 x64 and it did not work until I installed the x86 version.
NO idea why this worked and why I had to do it manually. But I see so many people with the problem and this was my fix after trying everything else I've seen thus far.

I try to install it it said it was already installed. Still have the same crash "appcrash" based on a kernelbase.ddl i logged into my admin account, tried to run, still same error. I'm glad this helped some ppl tho.

That was the error this should fix.. Go into the folder and run nosgoth as admin.. Doesn't matter if you're on admin account or not, still need to do that step.
Also, if you already have those files installed, select Repair for both files.

Yeah i did all of those things, still didn't work. The only thing i didn't do was uninstall->reinstall c++ 2010/2013. Gonna try that now.

Ok i tried the reinstallation and now it works! Thank you very much Siruss. However now when i go inside the game it says "not logged in steam" and i'm sent back to my desktop.

Things like your friends or your avatar can't in any way affect the game, how long is it since you contacted the support?

what is interesting i deleted steam then tryed to start it and it got me into loading screen then the same crash happens

Did you reinstall/repair BOTH C++ redist files? Considering you reinstalled everything, it looks like it is clearly a driver issue the game is trying to access that it isn't liking.

yes ofc i tried that a few time repair and after then clean install i am trying to solve it for like 5 hours straight now went to every forum with same topic tried everything i found a few time with no success i really dont get it its frustratic me a lot this is the first game i cannot fix ...

I said reinstall/repair the C++ files NOT the game files. The game isn't the problem, your drivers are the problem. Well, for some reason the game isn't updating the C++ files and you need to do them manually. I can almost guarentee you are the one messing it up.

fixed it i didnt have microsoft net framework installed :D

Nothing here is working, ive tried everything frome reinstalling the drivers, reinstalling the game, everything. nothing has worked. I'm talking to tech right now, but this started with the 3/3/2015 update. please help.
