whole team of them is fking boring...exp when they camp one side of map whole game.....they need to limit each class so u cant have all one class on a team..

I have yet to see many people playing Vanguard, but then again I play in newbie 4v4. What I DO see, however, is constantly matches against 3-4 reavers who just rapeface my entire team.

They can AoE heal/buff, they have great defense and can do burst damage, also shield bash has like zero delay. Its drawback they said is that their melee range isn't that good, which is great for summoners who can do somewhat ok from afar but bad news for the other classes who need to get in there. One OPish vanguard babysitting the rest of the team is all it takes to make playing vampire a chore.

I expected some imbalance so it could be tuned later but cmon, they didnt even try.

Vanguard is super easy to take out from my experiance both Vs. and as him. Yes, the AoE heal/buff is nice, but the heal is inferior compared to the Alchemists mist.
Knockdowns, Stuns and Poison sorts them out in quick order.

The only thing vanguard really shuts down is LMB spam. And if that's your thing, well get someone to fly in and grab him and simply remove him for a while while you deal with his friends.

I honestly have to admit the only time I've seen people complain about VG in-game is those wonderfully skilled haste/lmb reavers.

also the downside of newby arena its either reaver or tyrant and tyrant has a learning curve :P

i feel like the people who complain aboutt a class being too OP just play as a single class and dont bother to experiment and see what counters that "OP" class.
