There seems to be a massive amount of denial going on with some players completely oblivious to the fact that there is a mod now available that allows you to play Nosgoth again after downloading it from Steam. The applied mod then points your Nosgoth client to the private community servers instead of the dead ones.

Please post here if you have played the mod to confirm it does exist, that you weren't scammed and to encourage more players to join us in our daily Nosgoth online sessions now run on private servers via the mod.
Also feel free to post clips of your videos you have taken while playing the mod.

You can try out the mod without joining discord, just visit the following site which has some basic instructions on getting setup. If you run into any issues though, the Discord is going to be your next place to go for help.

Ngl i'm interested in coming back too this one but beeing a rather small community in scale also means i'ma get roflstomped and outplayed almost all of the time by Vetereans who stuck around forever and the learning curve is gonna be extreme. Are there enough new players too circumvent this somewhat, else it's just gonna be a abysmal expierience i don't wanna waste my time on

It can be tough but playing with the vets is the only way you learn to play properly as this game is kinda ruthless it punishes lone wolf behaviour quite a bit which in turn punishes the team after all its a team game. So learning how to attack (Vamps) and defend (Humans) as a team is key and the fast track is to play with vets and observe how they do it.

Key tips, let the vets initiate as Vamp and follow up with them, don't initiate unless you know what you're doing. As Human, stick close to your team but don't clump up and don't over extend and never chase vamps around corners. Stay in line of sight of your team.

Having said all that, most of the community vets with a semblence of intelligence will go easIer on you if they know you are fresh meat because at the end of the day they want people to stay but it is hardcore for sure.

There are enough regulars for daily matches but it always needs more and thats down to you and the people that want to play promoting it. Not gonna happen on its own.

Queue for 4v4 TDM.
To check, if matches are going on right now and whether and how many people are in queue for match making either join the Discord server as mentioned in the OP and check the 'lobby_codes_queue' channel or visit https://nosgoth.rip/queue/ .
If people leave an on-going match or lobby, it will be refilled from the queue.
If you leave the queue, you will lose your spot in the queue.

To generally find out the best times to play, as 8 players are needed for a regular match to start, visit https://steamcharts.com/app/200110 .

I wish xd you can get in-game currency after matches to use for cosmetics/forge

That is the in-game currency that has alsways been present in the game, as can be seen in this 9 year old video. It can only be gotten by playing and can be used to unlock weapon cosmetics.

I was just remembering this game today and thought I would see if anyone else has and bam, we got private servers. Nice. Set it up, but no one is on. Joined the Discord as well. Played a tutorial, but will check for real players sometime tomorrow.
