Destroy human buildings

Is there a way to do this? I swear I saw a pop up awhile ago that said I could clear slums but dont see any way to.

Some human buildings can be cleared by just building your buildings over them. There's no option to just "clear" a space before hand like in most city-builder games (unless it's a building you built yourself, then you can just scrap it).

If you picked the exterminate option early on, you should have a flamethrower skill to wipe out tents, and a remote detonation skill with the Techs to blow up buildings.

Check those abilities, see if you still have them.
