I suppose if you have a Gamepass sub, it is supposed to be available day one on there.

It's $50... which is less than most new games.

That is a very fair price.

Its standard AA pricing, though i think itll be a tough sell for anyone whos not a die hard fan already. Non target folks are more likely to gamble if its in that 35-45 range.

Day 1 gamepass would be nice. Dont think i care enough to own it for life if its got limited replay value

In what world is 50 USD still full price in 2024? 50 USD hasn't been full price for around 15 years now.

I will get it on xbox pass and then get it on steam when it's on sale with quality mods for it.

Considering the lack of hype and no marketing at all is giving me reasons to feel perhaps this one isn't the return to mechwarrior gaming we were hoping for but I'm still gonna give it a go, been playing mercs just to get myself acclimated with the controls again.

Very helpful, thanks! Happen to have a game pass promotion code I can use to check this out, really would have preferred a clan-era sandbox over a one-and-done linear campaign.

Will see where this goes eventually, maybe the modders can make this worth buying one day.

Looks like a hard pass until it goes on sale for $29-39 in 6 months or less.

The price seems fair, provided that the game is excellent and relatively bug free on launch. I questions how many of 5Mercs issues were addressed with this. Given how stuff was taken out of 5Mercs late in development (like infantry, or a map of where you're deploying) I will be waiting for a few days at least. I hope it's good and worth the asking price, but that is not what I expect.
