Same here. Can't progress because of battlemap crashes.
I agree. After I updated my mother board bios I have not had one crash or problem since. This has to be the BEST MW game since MW2 and Ghost bear. Now I did like MW3 a lot but this has to be the best IMO. This is by far the best work Piranha games have done to date. I only hope they put out some more clan story content before it is another 30 years.
See OP.... lol
I did try it with a 2070 before I got my 4070 and that was fine also.
Im glad your able to have fun with the game but UE5 demands having high end hardware in a lot of cases outside of Fortnite. I wish I had the money to throw down on a new PC but thats not going to happen for a while. This isnt even the only game UE5 bogs down on. Stalker 2 cant even get 60 frames on most 40 series RTX cards unless you have an 80 or 90. Im not sure how much of it is optimization on the devs end VS how much of it is on UE5 being a resource hog.
Im honestly at a point where I do not care about graphical fidelity compared to being able to run games on my hardware. Things dont look THAT much better than they did 8 years ago, so why should I upgrade when other new games run perfectly fine? DCS and Mechwarrior 5 Clans seem to be the exception rather than the rule for my laptop, Armored Core 6, Doom Eternal, Ready or Not and Darktide all run much better and look great on my system. Why is Clans chugging at like 25 to 45 on the training mission?
I do not like that the solution UE5 devs seem to have have come to is they can blame your hardware rather than try to optimize the game for the hardware people have, at this point im not touching any games on UE5 until I get the money to build a 2-2.5k$ computer.
If anybody is running hardware similar to mine and is getting better performance now or later I might pick up the game again, but I was severely disappointed and got a refund after getting to the first real mission after the trial of position. game literally turned into a slide show the minute the enemy lances appeared.
EDIT: Meant to say i have 16 gigs of ram.
