But, I imagine we'll get some missions that just introduce other 'mechs and variants and then eventually progress the timeline to Tukayyid.
Long term, I'd hope they release a basically a Mercenaries free-roaming open-ended bit. Something like Wolf's Dragoons were pre-Invasion...
Note associated with this the Infrastructure to select your "Campaign" at the start of the game, and that the TRO for the Deluxe version does acknowledge more Mechs will be added over time.
As Jaguar initiates the Invasion, is the Leader of the Crusader, and the halt is associated with ilKahn Leo Showers getting taken out it did make sense to start with Jaguar from a narrative perspective.
Given Tukayyid represents frustration incarnate for the Clans... I don't think Tukayyid makes sense. See people throwing fits over things like the opening landing mission on Turtle Bay despite it not exactly being difficult, and and now amplify that to a level they would actually be justified to whine.
*Note that Mech association setup is basically being lifted straight from the OG Invading Clans book.
Dragoon Civil War was basically a minor skirmish. Both are considered post Clan invasion and maybe covered in the next installment.
