Luthien: The Golden Forge. Mech factory doors won't open.

Second factory door after repair bays does not open. It is the open area with the first mech lance you encounter inside the factory. This is a second game-breaking bug I encounter and also a bugged door.

Piranha, if you are reading this, have you even tested your game. You had all these delays and could not even do some testing on the main story arc. This is literally required to progress the game and it is mind-boggling how you could miss this. Test your freaking doors in game, including the one from Voices from the Past, ffs.

Just played that mission ten minutes ago and there were no door problems. If having persistent problems across levels then there is likely an issue with your setup and UE5. Otherwise you are doing something that is causing problems that no else is or, more likely, just didn't trigger the door opening event.

an enemy spawned and got hung up on something. You need to hunt it down and kill it to proceed

same problem here. Started mission 2 times, still the same outcome. stuck in first factory hall:(. Quick search in the discussions seems to indicate that there are other people having the same problem. So......... waiting for a patch?

im telling yall, I got through the mission no problem. I do remember having to go back to kill an enemy mech that got hungup in its spawn point out of bounds, but once i gunned it down the mission proceeded fine. There's also a big hall with a bunch of mechs powered down that you have to sweep from end to end to make sure you got them all, they dont show up on regular sensors very well b/c theyre powered down, an active probe helps.

If youre stuck, backtrack and look for the enemy you missed

Same here, stuck with the door after the first patrol inside the factory. I assume its not spawning enough mechs somehow cause 3 is a weird number, should be a full lance

I’ve got the same bug. 2 year old fairly high end system.

Same bug - returned back almost to start of mission and yet same result. Tried restart 5 times....................

hotfix coming out next week, supposedly it fixes a bug in that mission that prevents the doors from opening if one of your mechs is dead

The door don't open for me too. None of my mechs is dead.

When i first played that mission, i had the same bug. I shot and killed all the enemy mechs in the room before i or any of my star went inside.

Second time through i walked into the room and had a shootout. Door opened. Perhaps that is what causes the bug.

seems likely enough, I havent encountered the bug myself so IDK
