The less xp makes perfect sense as well since you already did this once, at that point, your just learning refinements on what works.
I'm torn on the types of missions though. On one hand it gives me the ability to perfect the mission with minimal loss, but on the other hand i'd like some variation to the mission.
Only issue i have is the omnipods being sold as packages. Would be nicer if you had a selection of *different* pods for each component.
Currently there are always some components that are completely identical in all variants.
I do agree about the undertonnage reward though... that would be nice.
(although kerenskies seem to be a pretty much useless currency to me, you occasionally sell a few mechs you no longer need but other than that you pretty much always have enough money for whatever you want.)
This is true but only if you carry on using the mech long after the tonnage limits have left it behind. I was using the Adder and Nova long after the rest of the star was in heavies and assaults. Which would have made a tonnage linked honour bonus very handy.
