List of Mechs With ECM Variants?

I'm being very conservative in terms of what mechs I pay to unlock right now, so I'm curious if anyone can say which models have ECM variants, since I can't see a way to view all the different omni-pod options without actually unlocking the mech.

I honestly just unlocked mechs as soon as I could. You earn renown/honor pretty quick in game. Most of the mechs can equip ECM, and most if not all can equip BAP and targeting computers.

Arctic Cheetah, Shadow Cat and Heelbringer. Sadly at some point you will loose your EW specialist, so Hellbringer is as far as you go with ECM mounting mechs.

Oh, you don't get a replacement with the skill?

Not sure about most being able to use ECM, because the ECM slot needs to exist for it to be mounted. I have only seen a few mechs so far.

Nope afaik. Liams replacement is Junichi, Ezras bondsman. And he is kind of missile/energy hybrid.
There are two story branches in the end of the game, that will also change your starmates. But none of the new guys will be proficient in electronic warfare.

Huh. Seems like an odd choice to take away a character with a skill set that can't be duplicated by anywhere else.

Not ECM but there is a omnipod variant for the Direwolf that has an AMS slot which was more than enough to last me the rest of the campaign and completely disregard my Hellbringer.

How many of your star get replaced, and does that completely wipe all the XP you may have been trying to earn by running missions in the sim pod?

Liam gets killed and you leave Mia behind when you switch to Dragoons (alternative being stay with Clans and Mia, I'd guess Ezra gets replaced), new pilots have some what the same xp as you at that point it's just spent automatically evenly on all skills including the wasted melee. At least for the new pilots after the 'pick a side', honestly can't remember how Junichi's xp/skills look like when you get him after Liam is rip'ed

Sounds like it could benefit from a respec option (or even an option to choose skills).

I love ECM too, but sadly I think the Hellbringer is the largest Mech that has it.
