I'll quote:
I'll quote the definition of support: "give assistance to, especially financially; enable to function or act."
They do not give assistance, it is not enabled to function (as you said, one must be tech-savvy and you have to change a file to read only otherwise you'll lose that function).
Not only that, but MW5: Clans *doesn't recognize controller peripherals* because there is only one HOTAS config remap file and it apparently auto defaults to the Thrustmaster T1600 from which you have to develop your own remap file or as I said, piggyback on the work of others and hope your PID matches theirs.
What an absolute asinine thing to come in and try and defend..
When the game literally claims to "support" these products - a fact laid out in your quoted content above - then a warning to others is warranted. Your bizarre emotional reactions aside.
If you'd paid attention, I laid out the steps I took to work around the *lack of any support* in the original post. Otherwise, I'd encourage you to move on.
Are you okay?
Sorry you're struggling mate, I hope you can find a healthier outlet for happiness than trolling.
Certainly isn't something I would have expected had they not specifically claimed even partial support for it. That said, given joysticks have been around since the dawn of gaming you'd think they'd be able to do simple keybindings like any of the countless sim or sim lite games out there.
Some games i have played have weird as keyboard layout still i think your asking to much from a niche.
Sure, but you can at least rebind keys in most games without having to find a config file and then discern the manufacturer of your keyboard and then literally create a config file specific to that manufacturer and product ID. I have been doing flight sims, space sims, all manner of niche games for over 30+ years and never encountered so Byzantine a process as this - particularly when they are claiming to support at least some HOTAS systems.
I love my Warthog for flight / space sims, but KB & mouse is just simply better for this.
