I doubt we're ever getting a Mechwarrior that's worth buying hardware for again, it really feels like Clans only exists so they could keep the license and get in on that Game Pass money =/
As it stands now they lied about the minimum system requirements, my PC isnt the strongest but when dedicated VR Games are more playable than this unreal engine 5 slideshow gameplay (yet somehow the realistic beautiful cutscenes run at 165 no problem) you have serious problems and im shocked nobody else is talking about it. I wouldnt mind playing on all low settings if the game ran at an acceptable frame rate, graphics are not everything for me. Being able to play the game in the first place however IS.
I bought a Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro for MW3.
I bought a Saitek X42 for MW4.
Now I'm in my 40s, still a nerd, and lucky enough to be able to blow a thousand dollars on joysticks,.
MW5 is literally the only major game I own that just doesn't use my Virpil Constellations in some fashion out of the box. Sorry if I'm a little salty but it just doesn't feel right. Not only do they not work, but the menus break if i leave them plugged in. That's a travesty, considering that I can make them work with every other game on this list (ok MW2 was a challenge, but they work) as well as nearly every other little single-dev flight and VR game in my Steam library.
That's not even getting into the crashing (several so far) and performance issues. I was willing to cut them a lot of slack with MW5 for it being their first, but come on guys. The least you could do is commit to a vague update roadmap before you start pumping out weak overpriced DLC that nobody asked for =/
