I understand, I just think its dumb. The series is all about customization even if they kept fixed engines they could have just had those customization options disabled like they did in MWO for certain mechs.
I'll just have to stick to mw5 Mercs with mods for now.
4 was more like 5mercs than 3.....just signifigantly worse in every way possible, 3 just gave you a list of stuff in a location and how many critical slots you had open/available
No TV, no phone, no email, no social media...just the crap you built...I bet the idea factory starts churning after that
why do i unlock mechs in the buy screen and not research? makes no damn sense.
Now we got a mechlab that has alot of issues with internal space, armor distribution and outright violating BT constructions rules, just for what?
And while the Omnipod swap allows some additional customization, the armor pods, the inability to move heatsinks and other internal stuff around greatly reduce it.
And ontop of this, the MW5C mechlab is a cruel mess of UI and user guidance design.
