Anyone else having issues Clicking Buttons?
I've been having a problem clicking on menu buttons in the game, on every screen. This also includes Mech locations in the Mech Lab. I have to constantly click and hope I hit the target, which seems to change location after every successful click. Love the Combat when I can launch, but this issue is frustrating after awhile.

Yes, I have a hard time pressing button. They put this effect on buttons and the effect makes it so I can't press the buttons. I have to click and click to get the buttons to press. Other than that the game is great, I hope they fix this soon.

I also have this issue and it's driving me nuts. It takes so much time and effort to navigate trough UI with this damn bug. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Its odd, people talk about this often and yet I have never had this problem myself. Something weird is going on here. Some variable we haven't found yet.

What ended up being the cause of the mouse stuttering for me was my HOTAS. Simply having my HOTAS plugged in caused the game to have a glitchy mouse. Unplugging all my peripherals, other than Keyboard and Mouse has fixed it for me. I'll likely stick to KBM instead of HOTAS, until they fix that glitch.

Had to stop useing my razer mouse.
Mech 5 merc forum helped me before, razer mouse would cause game to crash cause of not enough resources.
Silly me to try to use it for this newer mech game.
Went back to my ben q zowie, button issue gone.

Aw hell no, my Virpil Flight sticks that I use for SC are such a pain to disconnect and reconnect daily. Mech:Clans is not the only game I play in a day... They really need to patch this.

I have a Virpil HOTAS as well. The only fix is to disconnect them from the PC, start the game, then reconnect them, then activate in Joystick Gremlin. Mine are connected via a USB hub so it's not hard for me the flick them off and on, but if I had a less convenient setup I'd probably uninstall.

Don't forget to mark the config file as read only so you don't lose your settings each time too :P

The 1 thing I hate so far is having to click any of the F1 etc Keys to bring up a Command List, and having to re hit the F Command again. We should just be able to choose for example, Attack My Target..... with 1 key tap. I just wanna hit F1. .... without a List coming up. 1 Command Click, is faster than 2..... right?

I currently have the glitchy button thing. I've had it in other games where my hotas setup causes a conflict - its like a power struggle between my mouse and stick.

What makes it extra annoying is having to try and click through menus to keep readjusting the bloody controls every time.

Yes, this is a joke of a game.

Yeah... the menu issue is directly related to "certain" HOTAS sets but not others.

My x52 (what I want to use) breaks the menus, but my 20 year old 3d pro & my old hotas-x don't.
Those last 2 will also keep custom keybind settings like they should. Unfortunately those old controllers are not in "playing order."

Also unfortunately, no matter what I do, I can't get that workaround for keybinds to work consistently with my x52 either...

HOTAS/custom control support is just REALLY broken currently. : (

i'm betting what it comes down to is the amount of people using joysticks or even having one outside of the hardcore simulator fanbase is probably less then 1% of all gamers and not worth the dev time to bother with. spend X time and money to keep x players happy is probably more then losing x amount of sales is still less money then the cost to properly implement it.
