They feel good as long as you set up your star right
To an extent, it does feel somewhat meh. That extent disappears once you set up the mechs yourself. The omnipod system is, pretty much, just you choosing which hardpoints you want to have and then actually customizing it. The given ones - loadouts... some are ok, most feel ... well you can do it better.

I am stealing this forever.
I am a MW5 merc vet and again heavy with mods where the clans where something to be feared but in MW5 I can go around with 1 of each mech in my lance, In this game when they say you need to meet or match the tonnage you really need too or your going to have a bad time.
And in that it feels way under powered because even with a heavy mech I feared clan lights cause they could take my legs out if I didn't pay attention
