Clanners have always been Gen Z Warriors. Its built into their culture, if youre older than 30 without a bloodname you get ♥♥♥♥ on and transferred to an useless infantry unit or if youre lucky youre given a ♥♥♥♥ battlemech and told to die. Smoke Jags especially

Completely wrong.

You seem to have this idea that Sibko's are like grade school or something. Sibko's are brutal. People die in Sibko's. It is hard grueling training that Clan Warriors must endure before even having the chance at becoming a MechWarrior. When you couple that with humans that are genetically engineered to be the best Mech Pilots humanity had ever seen, the product should be a hyperlethal soldier ready to do or die in the name of their Clan.

That is not what I said at all, and that's not always what is reflected in the fiction. Most people in Sibcos don't die, most wash out into lower casts. Yes some do die along the way, but that is mostly after most have already been washed out. Even then it is noted in the story that the sibco we are playing as is unusually good at working together. They straight up said at the beginning of the game this Sibco was not the norm, which is true since most Sibcos tend to only produce one or two warriors max, let alone 4.

Hell the fiction shows straight up that the whole "genetically Modified to be better Mechwarriors" is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Most of the best Mechwarriors ever have been Freebirths. The only Trueborn even on that list is Natasha Kerensky, and I guarantee if Kai or Natasha got put up vs an Elite Veteran of the First Succession War who was still fighting in the second, like Erza Bradley, they'd get clapped. The Reason the Clans are good Mechwarriors is because they train a lot, mostly in Sims, but yes some life fire practice, but not too much because then you'd be wasting supplies and thats Dezgra. Hell they even have Freeborn Spheriods beating Trueborn Elementals in hand to hand combat quite a few times. They aren't genetically engineered super Soliders, (The Society in part made damn sure of that) they never have been and have always been shown in the end that all the Clan's Hype is just that, their own hype. (except Clan Wolf, but thats because they have plot armor to make the Ultramarines look like Lamenters, and even then they only succeeded under a Mary Sue Character that is striaght up just a Steiner - Davion (twice over) with no actual Wolf Genes) they are Inbred Psychopaths for the most part, and the Socitey intentionally made that worse across the 31st Century as they prepared to overthrow the Warriors.


Reread the Blood Of Kerensky, Jade Phoniex trilogy or the new illKlan era Fiction, most of the time even to less selfish Clans, personal Honor and Glory come before anything else to any Clan Warrior, unless youre apart of Jiyi's new Falcons or the Ghost Bears before their stupid Civil War. They act like naive arrogant teenage kids because thats what they are

I did mention the Blood of Kerensky and Jade Phoniex Trilogies mostly, which are pre 3050. I mentioned the 3150 Clans beacuse in all honestly except Ghost Bear and Jiyi's Falcons they haven't changed (Also quite honestly late Dark Age Fiction is the best fiction Battletech has had since Wolves on the Border). Snow Raven lives in an Apartheid State, and every-other Clan except Ghost Bear got more Brutal during the Dark Age and after the events of the 3070s. In-fact they are even more Brutal and actually closer to the Clan hype of 3050 especially with the Mongol Doctrine, and less like kids then. But closer to Spheriods
