There's a simpod that allows to to play all unlocked missions whenever you want with your current mech roster as well as some additional training scenarios

Are you able to earn extra resources for buying weapons and such by rerunning missions?
you get extremely limited rewards, as far as i can tell the simpod is basically just there for achievement hunters. zero reason to even bother with it other then that.

I was under the impression it gave you XP for your pilots, which is a very major factor towards surviving combat.

its small amounts of pilot xp, some of the missions bug out bad in the simpod though. Had several end up not being able to progress or not able to be completed.

I'm mildly disappointed that there isn't an instant action mode. Also doesn't have the 'explore the galaxy' campaign mode... it's just a story... that's it.

Kinda regretting paying full price for this if this is going to be the replay value (beat the game once and that's it) but we'll see what the Devs add in the future.
On the plus side, I'm running on medium-high settings on an RTX 4070Ti and it runs like a champ. Game does a great job at immersion I just fear I'm going to run out of things to do before month's end

It says on the box dude, its a linear story based campaign. Most MechWarrior games follow this pattern! You get a mercs release and you get a couple of stand alone campaign releases.
