People still think DLSS/FSR were made for them to give their hardware more longevity while in reality it was purely done for the game's industry to save even more on optimization than they already did.
But, the ruse paid off.

Its funny how DLSS had the opposite effect in MW5 and actually hurt performance. Ive noticed just about everything built in UE5 is a terrible resource hog with performance like a bag of rocks.

RTX and DLSS have been the greatest hardware scam since PhysX and CUDA. We're at a stage where people are putting big magnifying lenses in front of tiny monochrome CRTs in order to "enhance" the actual resolution.

Thats the point hes making. You shouldnt need to use this ♥♥♥♥ to get barely passable performance.

I’m running mostly high, draw distance set to max. Medium shadows, DLSS balanced on a 2080 Ti at 3440x1440p on a 8086K with 32GB RAM.

Runs great, looks amazing (smoke effects!). I canceled gamepass and bought the deluxe version here. I just started MW5 last Friday after hearing this was coming out and realizing I hadn’t even played the game I bought 4-5 years ago. Very pleased with the engine and game. The sound is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥ but the cutscenes and game itself are worth the purchase price to me.
