How did you mess up Mechbay UI THIS BAD
We do not need a separate screen for each area. You absolute ninnies. I want you to know that you spent days away from your family to make a user interface that is less intuitive, absolutely dumb, and 3 steps back from every mechwarrior game since battledrome.

Why did no one stop this?

because your heavy mech has the firepower of a light mech and lets hide the fact you can't change anything because you need to unlock stuff you can't unlock because they throw literal regiments at your popgun mech.

Didn't this release on consoles as well????

If we had the same Mechlab UI as we did for Mercs, console peasants would be crying their eyes out.

So I'm pretty sure this is a "this UI was made for console users in mind".

Not saying it's good, but saying that's why this is the way it is.
This, for the love of god. It's just such an *insane* downgrade from Mercs it's wild it made it into the final game. Mercs was perfect, why ♥♥♥♥ it up like this?
I think you all have to come to terms with the fact that you have a mediocre developer in charge of your favorite franchise.

Learn to live with it till someone in the community fixes it.

its interesting since mwo and mw5 mercs both have good mech labs, and mwo even deals with omnipods etc.


I guess they think clicks count as gameplay?? Its wild they went this route.. smoke jag level stupid
UI always seem to be an issue with games these days. You want as much info on one page as possible, with as little nested menus and clicks as possible, with filters and sorting options for lists. That should be the only criteria to design around when creating any UI IMO.

These product people who make the requirements never seem to understand these concepts. Sometimes I wonder if they even play games and understand their customers, or if it just wasn't a priority? Feel like UI is pretty high up there especially for a game with so much inventory management...

This game..nope on all levels so far. But it is new and they will add tons of stuff ( they could already of added but why do that? ) eventually over many years. Until they realize having an option for a career and having many mechs to get and the ability to do what we want ( not so much here ) through customization i wont be seeing much praise for this game hopefully im wrong for the franchise sake..

Guess they got a few more hours of playtime from people needlessly lost in the UI.
They need to stop with the Console to PC ports, and Do PC to Console ports, Let the consoles receive the dumbed down version and stop handicapping the PC versions.
Ya Old Man. IMO the reason Diablo went so down hill after 2 is that they made it for consoles after that. From 10 possible attacks/spells at once to 4.
I am fine with the limitations whether they fit lore or not... but c'mon! this UI/UX is such absolute trash!

Totally agree. D2r will always be more fun to me then d4 for that reason. Even tho d4 has far more end game content
