I'm getting this too, is it coming up before you even get to the main menu every time as well?

Among other things, that path doesn't exist on my computer (past the fact that there's a D: drive)

I used to get these crashes a lot across all UE games until I updated my BIOS. Haven't had a problem since. I hope that helps!

Anti Virus is probably messing with the game. You need to add it to your anti virus's "allowed apps" or "exclusions".

for me it was this path, but yours will be wherever you have it installed. This is the file and path that worked for me:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MechWarrior 5 Clans\MW5Clans\Binaries\Win64\MechWarrior-Win64-Shipping.exe

do you have an intel 12/13th gen chip? sounds like the error you get if you don't upgrade your bios, it is a known issue with unreal engine 5 and the intel 12th/13th gen chip bug. If you don't update your bios to fix your intel chip you will most likely continue to get this error in any unreal 5 engine game.

The newest bios update was just put out in the past 7 days (on Gigabyte and Asus anyway).

I have an AMD chip and a Radeon graphics card. I've added it to virus protection exclusions. I've updated my bios in the last 3 months. I've also tried launching with vulkan and that didn't work.
