Man that Launch trailer sure has a lot of Girl Bosses...

How woke is this going to be? I smell a DEI consultancy :/

You're not wrong to be concerned, especially with the state of the Battletech IP nowadays, but I haven't seen anything that really makes the skin crawl. We're not seeing random clanners announce their pronouns before addressing the player or anything, for example.

The only thing that makes me hesitate is no Career-like Mode or Mod Support at launch, but I can wait for the inevitable update or DLC for that.

Those DEI boogiemen have a really long reach if they can change things 30 years ago. Which is when most those characters were created.

Not everything is DEI. Battletech has always had a diverse set of characters. No "consultancy" needed.
