that is assuming it's not your mouse itself at the cause of things.
Also why have DEVS not fixed the torso not rotating in modernized mode yet?!
The modernized control should be deleted in this case so people know from the start not to buy.
The controller works fine, this shows how much these devs care about PC gaming.
Horrible console port that seems abandoned...
I don't know how they came to the decisions they made there but basically everything that got chanced is total crap.
Starting with the extreme negative mouse acceleration goes on with the half-working hud and ends with the half-implemented and half-not-implemented physics like acceleration, brake, innertia...
see, the thing is, actual tank controls are not a problem to me, and they should not be a problem for anyone else.
i know it challenges your expectations, but this man-shaped thing is actually just a big tank. the legs are the hull, and the torso is the turret.
yes, controllers are supported for those others of you who cannot handle "correct" controls.
also, you'll notice the use of sarcasm quotes around words such as "correct" and "wrong" when talking about control schemes. this is because, yes, i understand input method is very much a user-opinion thing, but the fact is that all these alt iput methods are secondary, the main, intended, way to provide input into the game is the classic keyboard and mouse deal. not modern.
im going to guess it was a different team, or at the least a different project lead.
No it wasn't . It was basically the control scheme for War Thunder/ World of Tanks.
The current modern control scheme is superior as it better emulates a walking robot. Strafing kills the circles of death that people hated.
I have a 1600 DPI mouse and the sensitivity never bother me. In fact I think it's better than Mercs.
I just finished the Mech5 campaign with FPS(Modernized) controls and it worked great.
Don't know about circles of death as I only play Single Player.
My mouse is set at 2000 but it doesn't matter as we are talking about something else.
If you use the modernized controls and move your mouse from side to side slow -> the reticle/mech moves fast; if you move the mouse fast-> the reticle/mech moves slow!
Try it!
