Double paying?

I don't understand why there is a separate fee for "game time" on your site and no mention of it on the steam page as far as I can see. Feels like you're trying to just bleed your fans for money. Not cool Devs.

I just bought he game on steam and upon checking my account 'subscription status' it says my active game time expires one month from today, so it doesnt seem like there is a double charge.

And what about contibutors, they need to buy it to play, even with 3-6 month sub?

I guess they get an extra month, but yeah, not the best solution. Is it only on Steam available now, not over their website anymore? There you could download the client before release.

Right now i'm updating standalone client. Wonder if itwill be working.

Just updated it, now it tells all the same - "Not authorised to connect to private server 112". Looks like we need to buy it from steam, but no, thanks.

I think i read on the forum there is a difference between the steam launcher and their own. And original backers that used NQs launcher will not get the game on STEAM.

Announcement from the Discord regarding Steam:

For players who linked their steam account before buying the game on steam, the game time attribution is not automatic due to unexpected technical constraints.

You need to login on the website and go to your product page: https://www.dualuniverse.game/account/products
There, you will find a button labelled "Redeem game time". Make sure you are logged on to the account you want to credit time to and press this button. You should now receive the one month game time from your steam purchase.
