The name is fine. There are a few differents insturments we were promised, like basses and violins. Not every store has **everything** in its stock. And I'm sure the devs at least considering adding new instruments.
As geozero said, the problem with brass is there's not much building involved...
I can see them doing more in the future, but probably other obscure stringed instruments. There's the sitar, dulcimer, plenty of things with the same mechanics as guitars...
I agree with you, it would be nice, but building something like a clarinet or flute would just be one item with about 8 things bolted to it so it's really only wooden instruments that are worthwhile because of the painting, drying etc because you could make a brass or woodwind instrument way too easily
You'll also be able to manage a photographic room, recording studio rentals etc.
but yeah indeed, it's more on the luthier side but also some oither aspect of managing a music store :)
Drum sets are also a very standard music store thing but, like the brass, maybe not enough work to be interesting
I think fixing band instruments would be interesting. I remember playing the flute in high school, and it would visit the shop or band director for sticky keys or pads replacement. Polishing or fixing dents would be nice too.
