Question about Foxbot latest version
I just installed FoxBot and I noticed some behaviors are missing like rocket jumping, conc jumping, and building and detonating dispensers. I also noticed them getting stuck and standing around more than I remember. Is there something I am missing with a .cfg file somewhere? I swear the last time I played with FoxBot they were more advanced than this.

Currently using version 0.87 from the GitHub link.

AFAIK jumps are part of the waypoints. So unless the current FoxBot version has a bug, they should perform conc and rocket jumps *if* there are any in the waypoint file for a map. Probably the same is true for building any engineer structures like dispenser, teleporters, sentry.

Idk, maybe someone else can comment on this. I guess for a dispenser to detonate, FoxBots might check if you try to use it. Provided the bots have waypoints for a map, if they still stand around, perhaps that's influenced by the difficulty settings. As for getting stuck, some of the newer FoxBot versions had problems with ladders and air lifts. But this has already been fixed AFAIK.

In general, there are older FoxBot versions, even from previous authors, which might work better in some aspects. "The Bot Server" uses FoxBot v0.78-b3 for example, and AFAIR the previous Bots vs Humans server used even older ones, for this reason. Some old versions can be found here, but not sure if the newer waypoints are compatible: https://apg-clan.org/vbdownloads.php?categoryid=131

This is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. Do you happen to know which version is the best one in terms of skill? I played with Foxbot in the past and I swear I remember a pretty decent bot that played better than most randoms in pubs. I used to play in old school TFC leagues and am looking for a relaxing version of that if possible.

-X- used v0.701 apparently[web.archive.org] (which has been compiled for Windows only). So that's another one to try.

v0.78-b3 is probably this one: https://github.com/APGRoboCop/foxbot/releases/tag/v0.78

I use version 087 b2, the latest, and it seems to be working fine for me. I will check tho later on today to be sure and post what happens.
ok, so to answer your question, I was on the map redgiant on my server, planetiodine, and sure enough, a blue engie built a dispenser, and it detonated it when I tried to get ammo from it (I was red)
